If you are going to be a senior in high school top five things you should be doing now:

  • Make your "top five" list. Now is the time to start researching colleges you may be interested in. By the time school starts in the fall you should have your "top 5" college list completed.

  • Visit college Campuses.Take advantage of your freetime in the summer to visit the colleges you may be interested in attending.

  • Create a draft application essay. Now is a good time to create a draft of a personal statement that you can continue to modify and make adjustments to for various college applications and scholarships.

  • Have fun! It is easy to get overwhelmed with all the opportunities that present themselves - internships, jobs, and volunteer work.  But remember to plan some time for fun and relaxation!
